Ava Na Li has a strong understanding of both U.S. and Chinese
trademark and
copyright law. She holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and a J.D., and has handled hundreds of trademark cases.
Early in her career, she helped win the well-known “Water Cube” trademark case in China. She has also worked on copyright
licensing for Broadway shows and provided legal support for the Olympic Games. With experience in both legal systems, Ava helps
clients protect their intellectual property across the U.S. and China.

Ava also has deep experience in business immigration, including EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-1C, EB-2 NIW, L-1, and H-1B visa petitions.
Estate Planning
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she expanded her practice to include estate planning, helping clients plan ahead for their
families and futures.

Beyond law, Ava has a background in business and writing. She founded a web design company and is a published author.
Her story Nine-Headed Phoenix’s Gift appeared in the University of Iowa’s literary magazine during her time in the
International Writing Program. She has also completed novels such as
Dust and Spring, Cloud’s Oracle, and Rain’s Fate.
